Halloween III

Halloween 3 says the slogan for "Witchcraft enters the computer age, and a different terror begins."

Halloween III: Season of the Witch didn't appeal to most fans since Myers isn't in it.

While filming Halloween III, Carpenter and Hill hoped to establish an anthology series. A new Halloween movie might be released every year around the holiday, with each one conveying a different narrative. I thought it was a brilliant concept, and I wish they had had the chance to develop it further. In the end, things didn't work out for us.

A patient brought into the hospital holding a Halloween mask is killed while still under Challis' care several days before Halloween.

Dr. Challis visits Santa Mira, CA, with Ellie. Silver Shamrock, maker of the popular Halloween mask, is located here. The brand has a catchy song and has sold millions of masks in the U.S.

(The Silver Shamrock plant was supposedly based on a milk factory.)

Also, Conal Cochran, the CEO of Silver Shamrock (played by Dan O'Herlihy), tells kids that they should watch a special show on Halloween night while still in their costumes. As Ellie and Dr. Challis look into the case more, they find out that if he is successful, he plans to kill thousands or even millions of innocent people.

Halloween 3: Season of the Witch has nothing to do with Myers, Loomis, Strode, or Haddonfield, except for a few short scenes where the original Halloween is shown on TV. But it's still a fun movie, and even though it's different from the original two, Halloween 3: Season of the Witch is still fun on its own.

In spite of the fact that it has certain flaws, it has a number of memorable sequences. The most entertaining of these scenes is the one in which Cochran tries out his cunning scheme on Buddy Kupfer's family. Kupfer is a salesperson who was granted a VIP tour of the facility depending on the number of masks he sold.

Little Buddy (Brad Schacter) is placed in a small room with a mask while they watch a program planned to air that night. Needless to say, things get out of control, and you won't soon forget the carnage the result. Also memorable is Conal Cochran's history lesson of sorts, in which he discusses the real origin of Halloween.

In all honesty, the Halloween franchise is one of my favorites. I enjoyed the sequels to Halloween 3: Season of the site Witch, which featured Michael Myers once again (Halloween 4: The Return of Michael Myers and Halloween V, both great horror films). In spite of this, I can't help but wonder whether Carpenter might have done more with the series.

It is not movie moviegoers' fault that Halloween III: Season of the Witch was not well received by them. I accept full responsibility for this. I believe that the fact that the movie was promoted as a sequel to the first Halloween movie was largely responsible for its lack of success.

The fact that I adored Halloween III makes Carpenter and Hill's flat out flop easier to accept.

Tommy Lee Wallace is responsible for both the writing and the directing.

Tom Atkins, Stacey Nelkin, and Dan O'Herlihy appear in this film.
